I'm a software developer based in Seattle. I build small, useful things for the web and occasionally write about the process. Most of my work involves backend systems, networking, and the kind of infrastructure nobody notices until it breaks.

Currently I maintain a set of developer utilities and protocol references. Before that I spent a few years doing full-stack work at startups of various sizes, which is a polite way of saying I've written a lot of deployment scripts.
